With 2 queen sized bedrooms, a bunk room that sleeps 3, and a pull out sleeper sofa, there is plenty of room for family and friends. If you’re the active type you can fish in PJ’s Pond, try your luck at our 9-hole disc golf course (discs can be rented for an extra fee), or test your skills at corn hole and horseshoes. If relaxing is more your speed, you can BBQ, or just enjoy the view from the covered porch or waterfront patio.

Summary: We had a wonderful family trip staying at this wonderful home. The house was perfect and in a beautiful location. There were activities to keep all ages entertained, including several sun perch and bass being caught (and released) in the pond. We would definitely return for future trips. The hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend.

Summary: Our mother was a longtime resident of Sulphur Springs, TX and recently passed away at age 89. We closed on her estate but we are not ready to say goodbye to Sulphur Springs. We are so happy to have found this hidden gem. The bungalow was private, clean and checked all of our boxes. The kitchen was big and well stocked! The beds were comfortable. The fish were biting and who doesn’t love a good game of corn hole and horseshoes!! The ladies are still laughing about their turns on the zip line! We really enjoyed the outdoor dining tables for eating and the sitting area around the fire pit was perfect for star gazing in the evening. We look forward to returning annually to continue making memories in east Texas!

Summary: Let me start by saying the place is amazing. Clean, spacious, and ducked off from the main road and neighbors. It is suitable for a number of events. However if you are wanting to book it for a fishing trip it’s not the place for you. The owner came off a little rude upon our first conversation and was upset when we were trying to find somewhere to park our boats. He later explained why he was agitated due to the people who stayed before us messing up a lot of things on his property trying to park their boats. He told me that I should’ve read the description of the place which I went back and read again and still saw nothing on the listing that talked about not being able to park boats. He eventually made accommodation for us to park our boats at his house which was our only options since we had drove 6 hours. All in all he seems like a good guy that just met us at a time that he was already dealing with other fisherman who messed up his property. I would recommend this place as a place to stay if you are doing anything other than fishing. Beautiful

Summary: This property is great for a family get together. Rented for my family to stay while attending a Wedding near Winnsboro. A lot to do around the place, very quite and secluded off the highway. A gem of a place.

Summary: Gorgeous house on a beautiful piece of property! Didn’t encounter humans but did hear a few cows, coyotes, and birds. Caught two pound crappies out of the private pond in the front yard! We’re repeat customers and will be back again!

Summary: We stayed at Green Ponder Ranch for dual purpose weekend getaway. We did adults only valentines night for us parents then the next night we did a dinner party night for our 17 yr old daughters birthday and a few of her friends. The weather didn’t cooperate for all the outdoor options but the house was beautiful and the property was as well. The property is great for entertaining for sure ! We will definitely be back when the weather warms up to enjoy all the fun!
